Burlington, VT – Doug Nedde of Nedde Real Estate is partnerning with Redstone to design and build a new Hilton Garden Inn on the TD Bank block located at 101 Main Street in downtown Burlington. It will incorporate the historic Armory building in addition to the new building being built to include 4 stories with 139 hotel rooms and two-level garage that parks 200 cars. It utilizes the old Woodbury Armory building to house the lobby, reception, lounge, restaurant, bar and conference space with tall, vaulted ceilings, pool and 6,000-7,000 SF of space for lease for a restaurant or spa. The new hotel will have a “boutique Vermont” feel throughout and will be managed by a hotel management firm based on Portland, Maine. The project broke ground in April 2013 and has a projected opening of September 2014.
